We will ask you to fill out our health history intake form. For your convenience you can fill these forms out prior to your visit by visiting our New Patient Center, and printing out the forms. This paperwork is necessary because it provides Dr. Benton with information about you and your health.
You will have a consultation with Dr. Benton to discuss your health-related problems and concerns. Dr. Benton will then discuss possible treatment options. This initial visit is designed for Dr. Benton to learn more about you and your expectations so that he can design a treatment plan to meet your needs.
After your consultation, Dr. Benton will perform an exam that tests your reflexes and flexibility. He will use other standard neurological, orthpedic, postural and physical tests to assess your condtion. However, nothing will be done in our office without your consent.
Depending on your specific condition, Dr. Benton may order X-rays as well. X-rays will assist Dr. Benton in coming up with an effective treatment plan, as well as alert him of any serious spinal conditions.
After Dr. Benton reviews his findings with you, you can choose to receive treatment. This may include acupuncture, spinal adjustments, spinal decompression, intersegmental traction, and eletrical stimulation. You and Dr. Benton will decide on the best treatment plan for your needs.
