What to expect on your first visit
Consultation
You will have a consultation with Dr. Benton to discuss your health-related problems and concerns. Dr. Benton will ask questions to learn more about you and your expectations so that he can determine if you qualify for chiropractic care in our office and to help determine a proper course of care.
Examination
After your consultation, Dr. Benton will use a combination of standard neurological, orthopedic, postural and physical tests to assess your condition.
X-Ray Studies
Depending on your specific condition, Dr. Benton may order x-rays with a local imaging center.
Chiropractic Care
After a review of your history, consultation, exam and x-rays (if taken) you are ready for your first adjustment. Dr. Benton is an expert in many different adjustment techniques, including manual hands on, drop table, flexion/distraction and activator technique to name a few. He will use his twenty years of experience to determine which adjustment technique is best for your specific needs.
